Ever wonder what it takes to earn the title of Wedding of the Year? Well, celebrity designer, Esé Azénabor and her fiancée, Eric Grembowski just wedded in what’s sure to be 2017 and 2018’s most lavish affair. Glamour and glitz are just a few words used to describe the wedding that took place on New Year’s Eve 2017 becoming the last and first celebration of the year! 
When narrowing down a date to celebrate their love what could have been a more perfect choice than New Year’s Eve? Just the thought invokes visions of romantic, midnight kisses and champagne toasts. If you were lucky enough to receive an invitation to this ultra private affair, guests automatically knew that they would be in store for an incredible evening befitting the designer’s reputation for luxurious and opulent designs. 
One of the most important details of the wedding is the bride’s gown. Who does celebrity designer, Esé Azénabor choose to dress her for the most important day of her life? Well….none other than herself of course! Not only did she dream up the perfect wedding dress to stroll down the aisle but a total of seven fabulous creations, worn throughout the weekend long festivities. Her stunning, fully bedded, Chantilly lace wedding gown had a total of three looks and a detachable 15 foot train fit for a princess. During the reception and second look the bride’s train was converted to a 3 foot train, perfect for taking her first dance as Mrs. Grembowski. The bride changed into her third look just in time to cut the cake by removing the train and exposing a sexy, mermaid beaded gown. Her final change of the evening came when she wore a sparkly, high-low feather dress adorned with beadwork to ring in the New Year. Complementing his gorgeous bride, Eric Grembowski looked dapper in his Tom Ford tuxedo and Christian Louboutin shoes, one of his two looks for the evening.
If the bridal party’s breathtaking wardrobe was any indication of what was to follow guests were in for a real treat. Directly after the ceremony at the Hilton Anatole guests made their way to 7 For Parties in the prestigious Turtle Creek area of Dallas for the reception. During the cocktail hour, people mixed and mingled while sipping on libations and passed hors d’oeuvres before moving into the reception area. The venue was draped in a dreamy landscape created by Prashe and Flora Eventi full of a varying palette of white flowers and candlelight. DJ Koncept and the Michelle Priest Band helped set the tone and get guests in the mood for a real celebration as they enjoyed a sumptuous seated dinner with filet mignon and sea bass on the menu.
As the new year was fast approaching, party favors were handed out to all the guests. Just as the clock struck signaling the arrival of 2018 indoor fireworks lit the room in a warm, beautiful glow.
